Today is my 10 year anniversary of being published! The Chronicles of Koa was my first book to go live. I remember dipping my toes in the water and sharing chapters of this book online with friends. I was so surprised by the positive response and it gave me the courage to keep posting. But it wasn’t until I was in a car accident that gave me a concussion that showed me how precious every minute is. For weeks I was unable to write, read, turn on lights, or even look at a screen without a pain and migraines. After being under the care of a neurologist, I was given the go ahead to have screen time again. I realized that I was stalling from fear, and that accident showed me that I couldn’t waste another minute holding myself back. I healed and made the choice to self-publish. And I haven’t looked back!

I want to thank you all for being on this journey with me. How my craft has evolved throughout the years still inspires me to keep growing and pushing myself. I know some of you have been here from the beginning. I see you. I remember you all, and I am grateful you’re still here. And thank you to the ones who are new. Cheers to many more years of magical characters and epic adventures!
